Fall Beautification Day, November 15, 2008

Saturday, November 15th was the Lowell Fall Beautification Day. The day was a huge success as over 535 students, parents, teachers and administrators of the school gathered in warm and sunny weather to plant seven trees, do extensive landscaping throughout the campus, paint, window wash, dust and clean the library, scrub restrooms, lockers and much more. The school sparkled at the end of the day and the students will enjoy the trees and plants throughout their time at Lowell.

The success of the day was due to months of planning led by parent Marny Leslie, 2nd VP of the PTSA, and her team of leads and the hundreds of volunteers who worked on our beloved school! The day was a true testimony to the community spirit and Cardinal spirit of our students, staff, and PTSA! Thanks to Noah's Bagels of Lakeshore and City Paints for their generous donations.

Please view the picture gallery and see the hard work, team work, great spirit and fun that the volunteers had in working to beautify our school. We will do this again in the Spring and we are looking forward to it!
