Please mark your calendar for these upcoming workshops for juniors and their families that I will be hosting, sponsored by the Lowell PTSA and Lowell College Center!
Also, if juniors would like to chat with a volunteer college counselor at the College Center, appointments can be made HERE.

3) College Q&A Drop-In at the College Center with Ms. Aguirre & Jen - IN PERSON

Students and families are invited to drop into the College Center (Rm. 116) for a casual Q&A session with Lowell College Counselor Maria Aguirre and former UC Berkeley Admissions Reader/Lowell parent Jen Wana, as well as other College Center volunteers. No appointments needed - just pull up a chair and ask your questions!

The Lowell College Counseling Center
The Lowell College Counseling Center, run by college counselor Ms. Aguirre, can be found in room 116 on the first floor, just past the Book to Book store (but before the main office). Check out their website page here.

In addition to Ms. Aguirre, the College Counseling Center is also staffed by a dozen or so parents and alumni called the VICCI (Volunteers in the College and Career center) Volunteers.

Programming in the College Center includes scheduled visits from over 90+ colleges and universities (you can find the schedule on the Google Calendar on the College Center Webpage), general assistance in finding schools, applying, reviewing essays, financial aid workshops and much more.

Lowell PTSA Programming
The Lowell PTSA provides financial support for programs run by the Lowell Counseling Center and coordinates additional workshops and webinars on topics requested by Lowell Families.
