Just Do A Thing
One-time volunteer opportunities, like Teacher Appreciation events, Fundraising Drives, and our annual Beautification Day are a great way to meet other PTSA members and give back to the community. Reach out to the Hospitality or Fundraising Committees directly, or fill out the Volunteer Interest Survey.
Be a Project Leader at Beautification Day
Take on more responsibility, but just for a day! With the support of the Lowell PTSA and your fellow committee members, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of students, teachers, parents, and alumni to help better your school. This one-time volunteer opportunity to be a Project Leader for our annual Beautification Day is a good way to practice leadership skills while having fun with other volunteers. Watch for announcements about Beautification Day in early spring, or email [email protected].
Join the Grants Committee
Become a voice for students, and have a say in how the PTSA's grant money gets spent! Attend occasional meetings throughout the year, and encourage clubs, teachers, and departments to apply for LPTSA grants. Join the committee in the fall. Reach out to the Grants Committee directly, or fill out the Volunteer Interest Survey.
