Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your school community. Lowell has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for both parents and students. Check this page regularly for details on open opportunities, or simply fill out this interest survey to tell us how you'd like to help!

- American Student Exchange Project
Long-time history teacher (since 1998!) Mr. Worth has brought to Lowell a new organization called the American Student Exchange Project. It pays for recently graduated seniors to spend a week during the summer living with and learning about another part of the US. We will host six to twelve students from other parts of the US for a week next summer (June 10th-17th) and send six to twelve Lowell seniors to other parts of the US. We are looking for:
1. A Lowell parent or community member to volunteer to be a homestay coordinator.
2. Lowell families willing to be host families. There is a stipend.
3. Businesses which could allow visiting students to visit them.

We still need help soliciting businesses for silent auction donations and organizing other fundraising activities! We have many tasks/projects that you can do from home at your own time. We meet every other Wednesday on Zoom. Don't worry if you can't attend our meetings, because we also have a Group Chat!
