Volunteers Needed at the On-Campus BookstoreOur student store, Book to Book (B2B), is open during school days from 8:30-3:45 and staffed by parents, grandparents, and guardian volunteers. The store—just inside the main entrance doors—sells Lowell gear, school supplies (including combination locks!), snacks, and water. It's run by the PTSA, and all profits go back into the PTSA.
Shifts run just two hours a week, and we fully train and support every volunteer. Our volunteers will tell you that their shifts are a highlight of their week. No retail experience is necessary. Volunteering at B2B is a great way to give back to the school with minimal effort on your part. It's easy and fun! You get to interact with students, staffers, and other volunteers (such a nice crew), and you even get a special discount at the end of each semester. If you're interested in volunteering or want to know more, please contact me directly at karenzuercher@gmail.com. Thank you! Karen Zuercher, B2B manager |
