PTSA Grants Program
The Lowell PTSA Grants Program is at the heart of our association. Every year, we provide money for programs and projects that enhance the educational experience of Lowell students. The money for these grants comes from annual membership dues and generous donations to the Lowell PTSA.
The total funding for grants is determined year to year based on many factors including the amount of donations made by the Lowell community. The Lowell PTSA is solely responsible for funding decisions.
Grant requests can be made for a variety of projects/needs. For example, in previous years, we have received and funded requests for: equipment and supplies for clubs, academic programs and athletics; admission fees and/or expenses for field trips and conferences; mural artwork; science project supplies; performing arts program expenses; and student test fees, just to name a few.
Here are details of the 7 grants approved in the first round, for a total maximum cost of
$12,602.80. Read more details in our newsletter (sent out to members each month)
